Arada provides car for Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation to support orphan services

News: 1 June 2020

Arada has partnered with a major local charity that supports orphans in Sharjah by providing a car for their transport needs.

The Toyota Fortuner was handed over to the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) in the last week of the holy month of Ramadan.

The SSEF was founded in 2002 by HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as an independent government institution and has since helped thousands of orphans across the Emirate, providing them with financial, educational, healthcare and social support.

The Toyota Fortuner was handed over to SSEF representative Abdulrahman Ahmad by Rosa Piro, Arada’s Business Development Director.

Mona bin Haddah Al Suwaidi, General Manager, Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, thanked Arada for its contribution.

The provision of the car was in line with Arada’s efforts to support the Sharjah community as it works to combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other initiatives from the company include a partnership with Sharjah Private Education Authority to provide 1,000 laptops to assist needy students with e-learning, and the delivery of free meals for healthcare workers at Sharjah hospitals.

Arada has also delivered sanitation gates to key emergency service providers within the Emirate, including Sharjah Police and Sharjah Civil Defense.

In addition, the developer has also issued free sanitation kits to homeowners in Nasma Residences, its first project.
